managing all operative aspects according to “pull” logic. Actual
inquiries put forth by the customer activate the various processes, in a
domino effect: purchasing, production, storage, distribution.

computerization of the critical steps of the process (Formulation,
Finished Products Warehouse, Unfinished Material Warehouse) to streamline
the flow of information and ensure that batches may be tracked from the
raw materials used all the way to the finished product delivered to individual
sales outlets.

the use of effectiveness/efficiency indicators that monitor the entire
process. These indicators are systematically analyzed by a management
committee that implements and evaluates the corrective/preventive actions
necessary to ensure service levels and operative results.
