With its liquid detergent manufacturing plant and nerve center for shipping finished products, and with the last-generation misting tower to produce powder detergents, Biochimica S.p.a. ranks as one of the foremost companies in terms of assets.
As an integral part of a business context aimed at home care large distribution, Biochimica has become the pride and joy of the group, now diversified into various firms and line units such as the noteworthy Propack S.r.l., a manufacturing unit to produce packaging, which accounts for 35% of the industrial cost of the finished product: this makes it possible to control an essential cost center and, unlike competitors who purchase supplies from abroad, to independently manage product packaging.
Additionally, beginning on 1 December 2003 the Biochimica Group has further integrated and completed its structure by incorporating New Elberel Italia S.r.l., created through the acquisition of a company branch of Elberel Italiana S.p.a., a well-known company that in nearly thirty years of business has gained a leading position in the Personal Care industry.
The two members of the group (Biochimica SpA and Propack s.r.l.) are under the umbrella of a holding company that is the majority shareholder.
